I have been working on a photo exercise that has grown into a very rewarding endeavor.
What was a personal event has evolved into a social and teaching experience for me and others.
A small description of a photo walk;
Photo walks are an avenue to meet people who have an interest in art and photography. A photo walk may provide artists with opportunities to be in touch with what made them choose to be an artist in the first place. Think of it as a photographic sketchbook – an exercise in seeing. Photo Walks are about making pictures without a preconceived idea to how it will be used or viewed. Participants are encouraged to detach from an outcome. Photo Walks are therefore meant to be pure in intention and to flow as a stream of conscience. Assignments will be suggested to help and motivate the creative process through this guided photo walk.
Example of photo walks are below.

love the images, rob.
